Festive Outfit Ideas & Tips

Hello friends! Today we are exactly one week away from christmas! Yes, ONE WEEK. But if you still don't know what to wear DON'T PANIC. Today I bring to you festive outfit ideas and tips! I'll even share with you what my family and I have planned for this year. Now let's hop into it before we run out of time.

I'll start off with what my family has planned this year. But first you must know in my family, it's a tradition to celebrate on the night of the 24th and Christmas is our chill day. Usually we dress up nice on the 24th but this year.. oh this year we're getting silly.

Festive Sweaters

This year on the 24th we will all be wearing festive sweaters! It's nice cause we don't really have to try. It's a festive outfit! It's cold outside and we'll be warm.

Festive Pajamas

Yes festive pajamas! This was my uncle's idea and my aunt wasn't too happy about it but we will all (about 40-50 people) be wearing pajamas all day on christmas day. Most of us plan on sleeping in them which will keep us warm.

Festive Headbands

My aunt went shopping and got everyone in the family festive headbands! From reindeer antlers to snowmans, gift boxes and santa clauses. Cute way to get festive.

Festive Jewelry

I myself helped pick this one! We bought lots of festive necklaces and earrings and they're cute as heck and very festive!

Festive Socks

Festive fluffy socks! This one we didn't plan but I HATE walking barefoot and i'm always wearing socks. I own lots of festive socks so i'll definitely be wearing these. Comfy, soft, warm and festive.

"Ugly" Sweaters

If you don't have anything festive to wear this is the perfect thing to wear. They'll keep you warm. You don't need designs to be festive plus festive sweaters aren't very cheap. This works!

Turtlenecks

When I was little I hated these but now they make amazing outfits. They're nice and cozy. You can wear with jeans, a skirt, dress. Anything. Be creative.

Overalls

With a festive sweater under or simple sweater pick a nice overall and you have a cute look.

Festive Chic Look

Now for those of you that hate simple looks or have to go all out. Dress in a nice dress just make sure it's a festive color. Red, green, blue, silver, white, gold or anything with sparkles.

Beanies

There's a lot of festive beanies but if you can't afford one wear any beanie you have. It will still look cute as heck and keep you warm.

Scarfs

Scarfs complete any outfit. They make anything and everything look cute. Wintery and what's wintery is festive.

Festive Characters

This can go two ways. Formal or unformal. If you want to be formal dress nicely just add a festive elf/santa hat or festive headband. Unformal go all out in the outfit dress fully as an elf or santa or mrs. claus, a snowman, etc.
