Want soft, clear, glowing skin but are on a budget? I feel you girl. That's why i'm here today to give you all my tips on your journey to clear skin. The best part? It's super affordable!

DIY MASK No. 1:

This mask is my favorite. It's super easy to make and has amazing benefits for your skin. It noticeably makes your skin brighter, even and feel softer. It's a great mask for when your skin is feeling dull or dry.
Ingredients:
  • A ripe banana
  • Rose water
  • Honey

Benefits: Bananas contain Potassium, B-Vitamins, Vitamin A, Zinc, Vitamin C, Lectin, etc. These help hydrate and moisturize your skin while also healing dry skin. The vitamin A & C help fade any dark spots, acne scars, or uneven skin tone. The Zinc & Lectin help fight any acne causing bacteria. Rose water has anti-inflammatory properties that aid in healing red or irritated skin. It also helps nourish and hydrate the skin while leaving it visibly brighter. Honey is full of antioxidants so it's very moisturizing and soothing, giving your skin a natural glow.

DIY MASK No. 2:

This mask is great for when your skin is acting up and you need a quick and easy fix. Helps dimish acne, dark spots, and helps soften your skin.
Do this mask only 2x a week.
Ingridients:
  • Turmeric
  • Milk (almond milk if you're vegan)
  • Lemon

Benefits: Turmeric contains anti-inflammatory properties which target your pores and help calm the skin. That's why it's known to reduce acne and help diminish any scars, or uneven texture. Also helps in reducing redness and irritation. Milk helps brighten and soften your skin due to it's powerhouse of vitamins. It helps in soothing dry, dull skin and making it feel a lot softer after each use. Lemon contains Vitamin C which aids in reducing dark spots. Make sure to use a SMALL amount of lemon because too much can not be good for your skin.
Next are the scrubs. I honestly recommend making your own DIY scrubs as opposed to buying ones from the drugstore that contain many bad ingredients that you can't even pronounce even if you really tried. Making your own is super easy, they have multi-uses, are affordable and knowing what's in your skincare products is major key in taking good care of your skin. Also, over exfoliating your skin is no good. This irritates it and causes irritation leaving you with more acne. Make sure to only exfoliate 3x a week. (less if your skin is extra sensitive)

EXTRA TIPS THAT YOU SHOULD FOLLOW!

Firstly, one of the most important steps I follow is ditching any skincare products that contain fragrance. This is so important because products that contain fragrance can only be doing damage to your skin by irritating it every time you apply them to your skin. Especially if you're prone to breaking out, you will notice this. These are the affordable, drugstore products that you could use that contain no fragrances and are gentle to your skin.
  • Cleanser: Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Hydrating Cleanser - Creamy Formula. (Make sure it's the creamy formula)
  • Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel Alchohol-Free Toner
  • Moisturizer: CeraVe PM Lotion, Face Moisturizer for Night Use
Hope these tips helped in some way. Till next time ♡
